About the Role

 

Fund administrator based in New York City experiencing rapid growth is looking for an investor relations manager to join its team. Responsibilities will include maintaining investor registers, verifying investor eligibility, monitoring on-going compliance with anti-money laundering requirements, and processing all investor-related transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers for a well-diversified range of clients.

Job Duties

 

• Receiving, reviewing and processing all investor transactions in accordance with fund constituent documents 

• Performing required anti-money laundering procedures and other applicable due diligence on investors

• Preparing investor transactions reports for clients, fund accountants and senior management

• Liaising with clients to update and report on all pending investor activity

• Preparing and distributing investor statements and periodic correspondence

• Monitoring and responding to investor inquiries 

• Processing wire transfers and monitoring all fund bank account activity

Who Should Apply

 

Only candidates with a bachelor’s degree and computer proficiency will be considered. The suitable candidate will have excellent time management and communication skills, a willingness to contribute ideas and provide assistance to co-workers in an evolving team structure, and a genuine motivation and desire to learn with a flexible attitude towards adopting additional responsibilities when appropriate. Hedge fund experience is strongly preferred, but not required. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
